Ropella chalked up three more successful placements in the past few weeks, including David Gregg, who has recently accepted the position of Midwest Regional Sales Manager with Abitec, based in the Chicagoland area.  In addition to this placement, two other roles were placed: a Hair Care Project Leader for Akzo Nobel and an Account Manager for Twin Rivers Technologies.

On May 11-12, 2010, Jeff Bennett, VP of Client Relations, attended SCC Supplier’s Day in Edison, NJ.  Supplier’s Day is an annual event organized by the New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.  It is a major networking event for the Personal Care and Cosmetic industry and is attended by many of the major multinational Personal Care and Cosmetic Manufacturers.  Bennett was able to network and discuss these markets with executives from many leading chemical organizations.

Recently, The Ropella Group’s Director of Communications, Joshua Joscelyn, was married to Felicia Keeman.  The two met in college, and have been best friends ever since.  Joshua joined the Ropella Group in early 2010 and oversees public relations and marketing efforts.

Motivational and transformational speakers and consultants from across the globe – thought leaders in their respective areas of expertise – will be converging on the Ropella Group Corporate Headquarters for a strategic summit. Attending will be an Army general, a Fortune 500 CEO, a past Director of Leadership Development at West Point, a past president of International Paper’s Real Estate Holdings division, and other successful military and business leaders.

Recently, the Ropella Group placed Dan Nelson in the role of Vice President of R&D for Gaco Western, a specialty coatings company.



Also filled recently is the role of BIPV Design Electrical Engineer for Dow Solar.  This unique position will be responsible for developing thermoplastic solar roofing shingles, integrating solar collectors directly into building materials.

The Ropella Group welcomes two newcomers to the team!  Robert Ropella signed on as an Executive Search Consultant.  Robert is the son of Ropella presidents Patrick and Robbie Ropella, and he will primarily be focusing on the solar and electrical technologies industries.  Also joining us is Lauren Turner, as Administrative Assistant.  She will be serving in a support role for Mr. Ropella as well as the team in general, entering data and assisting with clerical tasks, etc.
