Milton Company Awarded $56,000 Grant by Florida’s Great Northwest

Posted: April 25 2008

MILTON, FL, April 25, 2008 – XCAVATE, a premier provider of networking services for the chemical and allied industries, was recently awarded funding from Florida’s Great Northwest WIRED initiative. The WIRED initiative promotes and supports employee skills training related to personnel expansion. XCAVATE will use the WIRED funds to provide training to 10 to 15 new employees over the next two years.

XCAVATE, a company of the Ropella Group, is dedicated to creating and maintaining the largest Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and related software programs specifically for people and businesses within the chemical and allied industries. The database and software programs contain executive contacts, research tools, and other pertinent information about companies in various sectors including but not limited to Life Sciences, Nanotechnology, Solar, Bio-fuels and Renewable Energy. The grant supports the company’s growth by assisting with the training expenses required to enhance the technical skill sets of new employees.

“We are honored to be one of only nine companies in Northwest Florida who has been awarded a WIRED grant,” said Patrick Ropella, CEO and President of Ropella.  “This grant will allow us to provide quality ongoing training and developmental resources that our future employees deserve.”
