Ropella has filled several more important roles this year, including some from the recent retainer with Dow Kokam for a whole slate of professionals in the Lithium Ion field.
Laura Soverns was placed as a Validation Engineer for Dow Kokam, and Steve Bazinski as Lead Systems Engineer for Dow Kokam.

Bob Patnode was placed as the West Coast Sales Manager for Acme Hardesty.

Additional Ropella placements include filling the role of Global Oilfield Product Manager for Lubrizol.

Dow Kokam has retained Ropella for various roles, such as Engineering & Technology Fellow; Program Manager; Lead Systems Engineer; several Validation Engineer roles; and many more for this growing industry giant.

According to Human Resource Executive, a recent study of 8,000 college graduates from the class of 2011 revealed that many are entering the career field without ever having held a job. 44% said they had never held a full-time job, and 16% said they had never held a part-time job.

The Ropella Group is guided by a Board of Advisors comprised of some of the brightest minds and most accomplished professionals from successful companies throughout North America as well as the US Military. The most recent addition to Ropella’s Board of Advisors is Charles A. Horner.
General Charles A. Horner was Commander in Chief of North American Aerospace Defense Command and the U.S. Space Command; and Commander of Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado from 1992 - 1994. He was responsible for the aerospace defense of the United States and Canada and the exploitation and control of space for national purposes through a far-flung network of satellites and ground stations throughout the world.
While Commander of 9th Air Force, he also commanded U.S. Central Command Air Forces, in command of all U.S. and allied air assets during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. During the Desert Shield phase of the conflict, Horner briefly served as Commander-in-Chief - Forward of U.S. Central Command while General Schwarzkopf was still in the United States.

General Horner is also a bestselling author and co-wrote Every Man a Tiger with Tom Clancy. He currently serves on the board of directors for the US Institute of Peace, as the Chairman of the Board for the University of West Florida, and as Vice Chairman on the board of directors for the Living Oceans Foundation, owned by Saudi Prince, Khaled bin Sultan.

Muslim Bias?

According to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as cited by Human Resource Executive, claims of bias against Muslims are rising even higher than they were the year after 9/11. According to the report, claims rose to 1,490 in 2009, up from 1,363 in 2002.
