Arkema Booming in Spite of Economy; Acquires Seppic’s Alcoxylates Business

November 9, 2011 - Arkema today reported a set of strong third quarter results and reaffirmed its previously announced outlook for the whole of 2011 when the company said performance “will be very significantly above 2010, with an Ebitda that should exceed the symbolic €1 billion ($1.38 billion) milestone.” Separately, Arkema has announced plans by its specialty chemicals subsidiary Ceca to acquire the specialty alcoxylates business from Seppic, an Air Liquide subsidiary…READ MORE
