Joe brings exceptional expertise in the areas of Business Development and Sales Leadership, Change Leadership and Strategic Planning, as well as Human Capital Deployment. He has worked across a broad spectrum of industries including high technology, energy, defense, and communications.
Joe was drafted into the Army and was the first Corps of Engineers Officer Candidate School graduate to make Brigadier General. During his Military career, he spent time on Capitol Hill and performed three tours of the Pentagon. He earned his B.S. in Geology from the University of Southern Mississippi and his M.S. in Economics & Human Resource Management from the University of Utah. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in San Diego, California.
He has led a 252-person organization, directed a budget of over $4 billion, and reinvigorated a geospatial information system to bring company revenues from $200 thousand annually to $7 million annually. He closed public sector contracts for up to $70 million and lead a team that won the George M. Lowe award as best large contractor supporting NASA. Joe has held both President and Chief Operating Officer titles.
