Information Technology Director


The IT Manager with experience overseeing large information technology projects, and a self-starter mentality with a strong desire to learn and grow on the job. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff.
  • Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
  • Consult senior-level associates across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology.
  • Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance.
  • Create processes and standards for selection, implementation and support of systems.
  • Be responsible for the daily backups of the servers and workstations.
  • Maintain/repair workstations and servers.
  • Train and support other team members on how to use Microsoft products and Adobe products.
  • Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents.
  • Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance.
  • Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems.
  • Identify potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior leadership.
  • Maintain client databases with up-to-date solutions and clear record of activities.
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to key members.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams and overseeing large information technology projects.
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
  • Understanding many of the software languages and packages like ExpressionEngine, Filefinder, SQL, MySQL, VB, C, C++, C#, PHP, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Jquery and a few others.
  • Complete understanding of Office products and many of the Adobe products
  • Excellent customer service in face-to-face, telephone or electronic interaction with clients, good language and communications skills, problem-solving, good understanding of computer support and troubleshooting, knowledge of Windows 10, Windows server products and ability to prioritize projects.
  • Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • An analytical mind
  • The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues.
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data.
